    1. It is strictly forbidden to shut down the generator under load. Before shutdown, gradually reduce the load, turn off the generator set’s output air switch, and then allow the diesel engine to idle at low speed for approximately 3–5 minutes before complete shutdown.

    2. The dummy load requires regular maintenance to prevent sun and rain exposure. A rain cover is typically installed on the dummy load box, which must undergo annual waterproofing and anti-rust treatment. During operation, the internal temperature of the box rises significantly and requires heat dissipation, meaning the box is not fully sealed. Rainwater can penetrate through the heat dissipation holes, leading to excessive moisture inside. Prolonged exposure to moisture reduces the resistance wire’s insulation. Additionally, routine maintenance is essential—since the dummy load operates under high temperature and high voltage, it poses an electrical hazard. Regular inspections must include internal dust removal, component checks, and insulation monitoring.
